We are FreedomCore Pilates. Let’s talk Pilates. No, not yoga. There is a difference. Pilates is for everyBODY. Whether you have injuries (new or old) or are perfectly healthy, Pilates is beneficial to everyone. Here we work on the reformer which provides all the benefits of traditional mat Pilates and so much more! Pilates is a great way to move the body in a low-impact fashion. You can lay, sit, stand and perform a variety of different exercises while focusing on working the entire body, going through all three planes of motion, and moving the spine in four directions. This ensures a full body workout as well as realigning the spine for better posture and body awareness long term. The benefits of Pilates include improving posture and flexibility, strengthens and tones muscles, helps coordination and balance, as well as improves breathing and spine mobility. Here at FreedomCore we offer group classes while still focusing on individual needs. We believe in the power of community and the benefits of exercise. Combining the two creates a social support system all while getting the benefits of movement and most importantly, having fun!
